Do I need a video of my wedding? Surely my photos are sufficient?
Wedding photos are very important - but imagine that you had the opportunity to view a film or video of your own parent's wedding - or even your grand-parent's wedding? Immediately it becomes clear how attractive and important a video can be. Make sure that as much as possible is captured on professional film or video.

My friend has a camcorder - why don't I ask him to video the wedding?
Yes you could - but isn't it true that most, if not all, of your friends will own a camera and will take it to the wedding - but would you also entrust them with the official photos? You know that a professional will do a better job. This holds true with video. Does your friend own the back-up equipment? - quality cameras, professional sound systems and editing hardware and software? Will their equipment work in the rain? Are you sure they will be discreet whilst filming? Will they concentrate on you or on their own family? This important event only happens once in a lifetime. Trust your video to a professional.

Will you be in the way?
We appreciate that this is your very special day. Video should be unobtrusive and discreet. It should be filmed from the guests' perspective with no staging of events. We know that you would not wish the church or reception venue to be turned into a film studio. We know how to blend in with your guests but still capture the scenes which make for a beautiful and memorable video.

What about lights?
With digital technology the huge lights of yesteryear are a thing of the past.

How long will a completed video be and how soon will I receive it?
This is dependent on the package you have selected. An edited video will be between three-quarters of an hour and one and a half hours. Depending on the season, we would strive to produce the finished video within three weeks of the wedding event. You should normally see the video shortly after you return from honeymoon!

How much will a video cost? Is it not an expensive luxury?
Dependent on the package selected, a video from Magic Moments Highland Video Productions will cost between £250 and £950 (2008 prices). A professionally produced video can be a cost-effective way of remembering a very special occasion.
